Admittedly, unlike running it’s the horse that’s doing majority of the work. Nevertheless, horse riding burns
calories. Trotting gently for 30 minutes burns around 360 calories and it helps to tone your stomach. Horse riding
is great fun. You will definitely fall in love with it. - Improves mental wellbeing
Therapy centers use horses to help ex- soldiers get over past traumatic stress disorder.
Also it is implemented as a Hippotherapy or Equine therapy.
